What is the Remote Computer Support and how does it work?

Remote Computer Support” (aka “Remote PC Support” or “Remote IT Support” or “Online Support”), is a service that allows technicians to remotely connect to a computer and provide technical assistance or solve problems that the user may be experiencing. This process is done via the Internet, without the need for the technician to be physically present in the same location as the computer that has the issue (e.g., at the client’s location).

During a remote support session, the technician, through a remote access program (e.g., TeamviewerAnydesk, etc.), can see and control the user’s computer screen and keyboard. This allows the technician to diagnose problems, install or uninstall software, make configurations, and solve other issues, all remotely.

Remote support is useful for quick and efficient problem resolution without the need for the technician’s physical presence. This service benefits both individual users and businesses that need quick problem resolution.

How your security is ensured with remote support?
  • You activate the remote support program only when you need it.
  • The program is not permanently installed on your computer.
  • During its execution, the program will show you a random unique number (ID) that you need to share with our technician for them to connect.
  • All movements and actions performed by the technician are directly visible on your screen.
  • At any point during or after the session, you can disconnect the technician’s connection. Thus, the program remains inactive, and no one can connect to your computer anymore.
Service details:
  • The charge for remote technical support is hourly. The minimum charge corresponds to one hour. This means that whether the technician remains connected for one hour to solve the problem on your computer or for 15 minutes, you will be charged the minimum amount of 60 minutes.
  • After you contact us and inform us about the issue you are facing with your computer, our technician will inform you if the problem can be resolved through remote support and provide an approximate cost. Then, if the problem can be resolved remotely, payment for the remote support service for at least the first hour is made via bank deposit. Once the deposit is made, our technician will guide you on how to install the remote support program, and then proceed to connect to your computer to resolve the issue.
  • Payment for the remote support service is made through a bank account deposit before the support begins, and then a receipt of service provision (for individuals) or an invoice of service provision (Professionals & Businesses) is sent to the client’s email.
  • The service is available from Monday to Friday, 10:00 to 17:00.
