Data Recovery

In many cases, data recovery is possible, provided that the data has not been overwritten and the storage device has not suffered serious mechanical or physical damage.
We assess each case individually and, where technically possible, recover data from HDDs, SSDs, external hard drives, USB flash drives and memory cards in situations such as:
- Accidental deletion of files or folders.
- Data loss following formatting.
- An unreadable file system (RAW Partition).
- A computer that does not start, while the drive is still recognised by the operating system.
- An external hard drive or USB flash drive that is recognised but does not display the files correctly.
- Drives that are recognised by the operating system but present problems accessing the stored data.
This service is limited to cases of Logical Data Recovery, where the storage device remains accessible and is recognised by the operating system, allowing data recovery to be performed using specialised software without any physical intervention on the drive.
We do not provide data recovery services for storage devices that have suffered mechanical failure, physical damage or require recovery procedures in a specialised clean room laboratory.
Recovery of deleted files from an SSD
Recovering deleted files from an SSD is often limited or impossible because of the TRIM function, which may permanently erase data after it has been deleted by the operating system. For this reason, the chances of successfully recovering deleted files from an SSD are usually significantly lower than from a traditional mechanical hard disk drive (HDD).
The possibility of recovery depends on the type of drive, the way the system operates and the cause of the data loss. Each case is assessed individually, and successful recovery cannot be guaranteed.
What to do if you have lost your files
Do not panic, and avoid taking actions that could reduce the chances of recovering your data.
Stop using the drive or storage device immediately. Do not save new files, format the drive or install recovery software on the same drive, as this may overwrite data that could otherwise still be recoverable.

HDD and SSD health checks
We check the condition of mechanical hard drives and SSDs using the drive’s SMART diagnostic data, among other checks. This can help identify early signs of wear or potential drive failure.
Depending on the results, we may recommend creating an immediate backup, transferring the data or replacing the drive before it develops a more serious fault, helping to prevent possible data loss.
Signs that your drive may be developing a problem
- The computer takes an unusually long time to start.
- Files and applications open very slowly.
- The system freezes or frequently displays errors.
- The drive disconnects or is not consistently recognized.
- Unusual noises from a mechanical hard disk drive (HDD).
- Messages appear asking you to check, repair or format the drive.
If you notice any of these signs, where possible, immediately create a copy of your important files on a different storage device, such as an external hard drive or USB flash drive, on another computer or in the cloud using services such as OneDrive, Google Drive or Dropbox. Stop using the drive if it makes unusual noises or disconnects frequently.
Transferring data to a new SSD
We can transfer your files from an old drive to a new SSD as part of an upgrade or the replacement of a storage device that is developing problems.
Where the condition of the old drive allows it, we can transfer your personal files or clone the entire system so that your Microsoft Windows installation, applications and computer settings are retained.
Data backup solutions
Your personal and business files may be lost because of drive failure, accidental deletion, malware, theft of the computer or another unexpected incident. Creating regular backups is the most effective way to protect against data loss.
We can create an initial copy of your files and configure a manual or automatic backup process according to your requirements.
