Is your computer running slowly, failing to start, or experiencing problems?
Net On Cosmos | PCW.GR provides computer diagnostics, repair, and upgrade services for systems running Microsoft Windows, serving individuals, self-employed professionals, and small businesses.
Before deciding to purchase a new computer, it is worth having your existing system properly diagnosed. In many cases, a repair or targeted upgrade can restore normal operation, significantly improve performance, and extend the computer’s useful life.
Each computer is assessed individually so that we can identify the actual cause of the problem and recommend a solution that is both technically appropriate and cost-effective.
What problem is your computer experiencing?

- Does not recognise the hard drive, SSD, or other devices.

Desktop computer repairs and upgrades
For desktop computers, we provide diagnosis and repair of hardware and software problems, together with maintenance and upgrade services.
Depending on the condition and capabilities of the system, we may recommend replacing a faulty component or carrying out a targeted upgrade to improve performance and extend the computer’s useful life.
Before recommending an upgrade, we check component compatibility and assess whether the cost of the work will provide a genuine technical and financial benefit.

Free desktop computer diagnostics
Hardware diagnostics for desktop computers are carried out at our workshop at 100 Arapaki Street, Kallithea. Once the diagnostic process has been completed, we will explain the cause of the problem and provide an estimated repair cost before proceeding with any work.
The diagnostic assessment is provided free of charge when:
- The repair is carried out by our workshop.
- The initial assessment determines that the computer cannot be repaired.
When does a diagnostic charge apply?
In some cases, diagnosing a problem may require additional or particularly time-consuming work. A diagnostic charge may apply when:
- The computer has been assembled incorrectly and requires a detailed inspection or correction of the assembly.
- Extensive and time-consuming testing is required to identify the fault.
- The computer can be repaired, but the customer decides not to proceed with the repair.
In certain cases, correctly diagnosing a problem or confirming that the computer is operating properly may require the reinstallation of Microsoft Windows.
When reinstallation is necessary for diagnostic purposes and results in the problem being resolved, the work is charged according to our current price list. You will be informed of any potential charge before the relevant work is carried out.
How is the diagnostic assessment carried out?
Accurate diagnosis is the most important stage before any repair or upgrade. The assessment is not limited to the component that appears to be causing the problem; it also examines the overall operation of the computer.
Depending on the symptoms, we may test the main components, power supply, RAM, HDD, SSD and NVMe storage devices, operating temperatures, and cooling system.
We also check the operation of Microsoft Windows, device drivers, essential system services, and installed applications. When there are indications of an infection, the computer is also checked for viruses and other malicious software.
When is a repair or upgrade worthwhile?
A computer that is running slowly or experiencing problems does not necessarily need to be replaced. In many cases, repairing a faulty component or carrying out a carefully selected upgrade can noticeably improve the system’s everyday performance.
Before recommending any work, we consider the age and overall condition of the computer, the system’s technical capabilities, how it is used, the cost of replacement parts, and the expected result.
If a repair or upgrade is not cost-effective, we will explain this clearly before any work is carried out.
